Runway and burn rate tell you how long you can keep going at current spend. We explain how to calculate and monitor them.

Burn rate is typically monthly cash outflow (excluding one-offs). Runway is cash in the bank divided by burn. Update both regularly and stress-test with different scenarios. We build rolling cash forecasts so our clients always know where they stand.
